The Apprentice AI Hackathon is a 9-hour event designed to foster innovation and creativity in the community through the power of AI. Participants will work in teams to build impactful applications that solve real-world challenges. Key rules include adhering to the time limit, and ensuring that all code is written during the event—no pre-existing code is allowed. Teams are limited to 4 members, and all projects must align with the theme of community suppor answering the propmt given to you. Judges will evaluate projects based on creativity, functionality, and societal impact. Plagiarism or inappropriate content will result in disqualification. Participants are encouraged to collaborate, have fun, and push the boundaries of what AI can achieve for good.

How it works:

You must be at the Sonesta Select (18090 San Ramon Valley Blvd) by 9 am. Teams must be finilized by 9:30 am. We will have a guest speaker at 9:30 am, infomrational lecture at 10:00 am and begin the hackathon by 11:00 am (Will most likley start earlier). Teams will have 6 hours to complete the project. Presentations begin at 5 pm. Judging and awards will be given out by 6 pm.

Costco pizza, and happy lemon boba will be served.

Prizes: $200 valued prize for 1st, $125 valued prize 2nd, $75 valued prize for 3rd, $50 valued prize for 4th, $25 valued prize for 5th
